Menthobi Karyatama (MKTR) Rises Profit to Rp6.2 Billion in Q1/2025
Palm oil issuer PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) recorded a 32.28% year-on-year (yoy) increase in net profit as of the first quarter of 2025.
According to the Financial Report, net profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity reached IDR 6.2 billion in Q1 2025, up from IDR 4.7 billion in Q1 2024.
In line with this, MKTR also reported revenue of IDR 267.6 billion in Q1 2025, marking an 8% yoy increase from IDR 247.6 billion in Q1 2024.
MKTR’s revenue was primarily supported by palm oil sales, which contributed IDR 228.1 billion, followed by palm kernel oil at IDR 37.4 billion, and palm kernel expeller (PKE) at IDR 1.5 billion as of Q1 2025.
MKTR Finance Director Wawan Sulistyawan stated that the company’s revenue growth reflected strong financial performance.
"For 2025, we are hopeful for continued growth by optimizing all available assets," he told the media during MKTR's Public Expose in Jakarta on Wednesday (April 30, 2025).
Meanwhile, MKTR’s cost of revenue rose 8.3% yoy to IDR 232.8 billion in Q1 2025, up from IDR 214.8 billion in Q1 2024.
Gross profit stood at IDR 34.8 billion in Q1 2025, a 6.2% yoy increase from IDR 32.7 billion in Q1 2024.
