MKTR is committed to improving the efficient use of energy, water, and natural resources as part of its efforts to build more sustainable and climate-resilient operations. The Company integrates resource efficiency into its operational practices through energy optimization, responsible waste management, and the utilization of palm oil by-products to support a circular economy.
In line with its Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Policy, the Company continues to strengthen greenhouse gas emission reduction initiatives through operational innovation, improved energy efficiency, and the development of value-added products such as GreenGrow Organic Fertilizer and EFB Pellets, produced from Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) biomass. These initiatives help minimize environmental impacts, maximize resource utilization, and enhance the Company's resilience in addressing climate-related challenges.
