Waste Management

PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk is committed to running environmentally friendly operations to support long-term business success. Through its subsidiary, PT Menthobi Hijau Lestari (MHL), the company focuses on palm oil waste management, especially by processing empty baskets into organic fertilizer. In addition, liquid waste is also physically and biologically treated to be used as liquid fertilizer.

The company implements a zero burning and zero waste policy, and manages production waste consisting of non-B3 waste (such as boiler ash, fiber, shells) and hazardous waste, with the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
