MKTR consistently develops a transparent supply chain traceability system in line with its Sustainability Policy. During the reporting year, there were no significant changes in operational areas or supply chain structure, and all suppliers are required to acknowledge and fully commit to the Sustainability Policy, which is communicated to both employees and suppliers.
The Company ensures that 100% of FFB supplied to its palm oil mills is traceable. Approximately 62% of FFB is sourced internally (nucleus and plasma), and around 38% is supplied by third parties (independent smallholders, cooperatives, and nearby plantation companies). MKTR continuously updates FFB supply data to maintain complete traceability information for all supplies to its mills (traceability to mill).
A key enabler of this traceability is the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, which covers all plantation processes—from land and farmer selection, land preparation, planting, crop maintenance, and harvesting, through to delivery. The system has been extended to mill operations, including receipt of harvested crops, grading, and product dispatch. The use of this technology enables the IST team to build partnerships with growers and suppliers while ensuring a robust traceability system to monitor product quality and safety up to the customer level.
MKTR also safeguards data quality within its information systems to prevent potential fraud or manipulation of FFB data that could undermine supply chain integrity and create significant risks for environmental management as well as ethical business and labor practices. In responding to tightening global sustainability standards, the Company focuses, among others, on energy-cost efficiency through biomass and on strengthening supply chain traceability, including up to plasma estates, as part of its long-term competitiveness strategy.
From a governance standpoint, MKTR is committed to ethical supply chain practices by ensuring legal and social protection for workers involved in the supply chain. The Company has established a comprehensive compliance framework and ensures that labor practices throughout the supply chain are aligned with national regulations and international labor standards, with no disguised employment relationships or undocumented workers.
