   MKTR, through its subsidiary PT Menthobi Hijau Lestari (MHL), operates an organic fertilizer plant that processes solid and liquid waste from the palm oil processing process. The plant is capable of processing 120 tons of empty baskets (jankos), 360 tons of liquid waste, 30 tons of solid waste, and 5 tons of boiler ash per day, producing 24-40 tons of organic fertilizer daily. This step not only reduces potential pollution, but also creates added value from industrial waste.

2. Construction of Biomass Plant

   MKTR also built an EFB Pellet biomass plant that processes oil palm empty bunches into a renewable energy source. The project aims to reduce solid waste and support the green energy transition.

   The Company implements an Environmental Management System to ensure that all operational activities comply with applicable environmental standards. This includes regular monitoring of water, air, and soil quality around operational areas to detect and prevent potential pollution.
