MKTR’s Net Profit Soars 105%: Key Drivers Behind the Growth
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Palm oil issuer PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) recorded a 105% increase in net profit to IDR 36.783 billion in the third quarter of 2025, compared with IDR 17.919 billion in the third quarter of 2024.
Based on information disclosure filed with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), as quoted on Monday (17 November 2025), MKTR’s revenue also increased by 27% to IDR 879.114 billion, compared with IDR 693.764 billion in the third quarter of 2024.
The increase in sales was driven by a 207% surge in sales volume of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO), resulting from the Kernel Crushing Plant (KCP) having been fully operational in 2025. The KCP is an MKTR-owned production facility, with investment in its construction having commenced in 2023 and becoming effectively operational around mid-2024.
KCP activities include processing palm kernel— a by-product of CPO processing— into Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO). In addition, MKTR’s sales performance was also supported by an increase in CPO sales volume, which rose by 3% compared to the previous year.
The Company delivered positive performance amid climate-related challenges, namely La Niña. As commonly recognized, La Niña represents one of the most significant challenges to agribusiness, including the palm oil plantation industry, in 2025.
