Lamandau Deputy Regent Attends CSR Free Medical Program by PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya in Guci Village
SB, NANGA BULIK – Deputy Regent of Lamandau, Abdul Hamid, attended a free medical service activity implemented through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program in the Healthcare Sector by PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk. The activity was held at the Guci Village Office, Bulik Sub-district, on Tuesday (23 December 2025).
In his remarks, the Deputy Regent of Lamandau conveyed his appreciation and gratitude to PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk for the Company’s concern and commitment in supporting social development, particularly in the area of public health. He emphasized that health constitutes one of the primary foundations of regional development. A healthy community possesses the capacity to engage in productive activities and to play an active role in driving sustainable development in Lamandau Regency.
“The local government highly appreciates the synergy established between the business sector and the community. This free medical service initiative is expected to deliver tangible benefits, be well-targeted, and be implemented on a sustainable basis,” said Abdul Hamid.
According to him, collaboration among the government, corporations, and the community is a critical key to improving the quality of life of the population, particularly in rural areas that require broader access to healthcare services. Meanwhile, General Manager of Operations of PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk, Adrial, explained that the CSR activity in the healthcare sector represents the Company’s social responsibility toward communities located around its operational areas, particularly in Guci Village.
“We recognize that health is the primary capital in building strong and productive human resources. Through this program, the Company seeks to contribute not only to economic aspects, but also to the social and public health dimensions,” he stated.
The free medical service activity received a positive response from the residents of Guci Village, who expressed hope that similar programs will continue and reach a broader segment of the community in the future.
