125 Beneficiaries in Kujan Village Receive Corporate Aid Ahead of Ramadan

NANGA BULIK, Indonesia — Corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities have once again been carried out by PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk through its Ramadan Social Service program.

As part of the initiative, the company distributed basic food packages to residents of Kujan Village in Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The assistance was specifically targeted at elderly residents, orphans, and mosque caretakers within the community.

The symbolic handover of the aid took place at the Kujan Village Hall on Thursday, March 5, 2026, and was attended by Kujan Village Head Ronny Sanjaya, village officials, and company representatives.

A total of 125 beneficiaries from nine neighborhood units (RTs) received the food packages. The list of recipients had been compiled in advance by village authorities to ensure that the assistance was distributed accurately to those in need.

Kujan Village Head Ronny Sanjaya expressed his appreciation for the company’s concern for the local community, noting that the program was particularly helpful for vulnerable groups during the holy month of Ramadan.

“We are very grateful to PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk for its care and support for the people of Kujan Village. This assistance is highly beneficial, especially in the lead-up to and during Ramadan,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of CSR at PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk, Rolly Marta, explained that the Ramadan Social Service program reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting communities in its operational areas.

“Through this CSR program, we hope to help ease the burden on the community, particularly for the elderly, orphans, and mosque caretakers. We also hope this assistance can bring meaningful benefits and strengthen the relationship between the company and the community,” he said.

The initiative is expected to further strengthen ties between the company and surrounding communities. Beyond demonstrating social responsibility, the program also represents the company’s tangible contribution to improving the welfare of residents in Kujan Village.
