Palm oil issuer PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) is targeting a net profit of IDR 73 billion in 2025.
MKTR Finance Director Wawan Sulistyawan stated that the company is confident it can achieve revenue of IDR 1.3 trillion in 2025.
“If we can optimize all our assets, we believe revenue can reach IDR 1.3 trillion in 2025, with net profit projected at IDR 73 billion,” he said during a Public Expose in Jakarta on Wednesday (April 30, 2025).
According to its financial statements, MKTR recorded a net profit of IDR 52.2 billion in 2024, a 1.7% increase year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 51.3 billion in 2023.
In line with that, the company also posted revenue of IDR 1 trillion in 2024, up 41.6% yoy from IDR 710.98 billion in 2023. Wawan explained that MKTR’s growth in 2024 was driven by rising prices and increased production volumes of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK).
“The prices of CPO and PK rose significantly by 18.3% and 24.3%, respectively, while CPO and PK production volumes increased by 21% and 33.8%,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (May 1, 2025).
MKTR’s performance in 2024 was also supported by the full operation of the palm oil mill owned by its subsidiary, PT Khatulistiwa Sinergi Omnidaya (KSO), which was acquired at the end of 2023.
MKTR has also begun developing a Biomass EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) Pellet production facility, an initiative to create environmentally friendly alternative fuel using palm oil empty fruit bunches (EFB) as raw material. This is part of the company's commitment to building a green industry and supporting the transition to green energy toward achieving Net Zero Emissions.
Currently, MKTR is in the initial stage of constructing this new Biomass EFB Pellet production facility, with commissioning scheduled for late 2025.
Meanwhile, MKTR recorded a 32.28% year-on-year (yoy) increase in net profit as of Q1 2025.
According to financial data, net profit attributable to the owners of the parent entity reached IDR 6.2 billion in Q1 2025, up from IDR 4.7 billion in Q1 2024. Revenue also rose 8% yoy to IDR 267.6 billion in Q1 2025 from IDR 247.6 billion in the same period the previous year.
MKTR’s revenue was supported by CPO sales amounting to IDR 228.1 billion, palm kernel oil contributing IDR 37.4 billion, and palm kernel expeller (PKE) contributing IDR 1.5 billion as of Q1 2025.
On the balance sheet, MKTR’s total assets rose to IDR 1.53 trillion as of Q1 2025, from IDR 1.51 trillion as of December 2024.
