Palm Oil Issuer Menthobi (MKTR) Ready to Spread Dividends of IDR 18.2 Billion

Palm oil issuer PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) has announced the distribution of cash dividends totaling IDR 18.21 billion.
The cash dividend distribution represents 35% of the company’s net profit for the 2024 fiscal year, which amounted to IDR 52.2 billion.

 

The decision was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 fiscal year held on April 30, 2025. According to the financial report, MKTR recorded a net profit of IDR 52.2 billion in 2024, an increase of 1.7% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 51.3 billion in 2023.

 

In line with this, MKTR also posted revenue of IDR 1 trillion in 2024, up 41.6% yoy from IDR 710.98 billion in 2023. MKTR’s Finance Director, Wawan Sulistyawan, stated that the company’s improved performance throughout 2024 was driven by rising prices and production volumes of crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK).

 

“The prices of CPO and palm kernel increased significantly by 18.3% and 24.3%, respectively, while production volumes rose by 21% and 33.8%,” he said in an official statement on Thursday (May 1, 2025).

 

MKTR’s 2024 performance was further supported by the fully operational palm oil mill owned by its subsidiary, PT Khatulistiwa Sinergi Omnidaya (KSO), which was acquired at the end of 2023. MKTR has also begun establishing a Biomass EFB (Empty Fruit Bunch) Pellet production facility, an initiative aimed at creating eco-friendly alternative fuel using palm oil empty fruit bunches (EFB) as raw material.

 

This initiative is part of the company’s effort to build a green industry and support the transition to clean energy toward Net Zero Emissions. MKTR is currently in the early stages of constructing the new Biomass EFB Pellet facility, which is scheduled for commissioning by the end of 2025.

 

Meanwhile, MKTR also reported a 32.28% yoy increase in net profit for the first quarter of 2025.
Based on financial data, net profit attributable to the parent entity reached IDR 6.2 billion in Q1 2025, up from IDR 4.7 billion in Q1 2024. MKTR’s revenue also rose to IDR 267.6 billion in Q1 2025, reflecting an 8% yoy increase from IDR 247.6 billion in Q1 2024.

 

Revenue was supported by palm oil sales contributing IDR 228.1 billion, palm kernel oil contributing IDR 37.4 billion, and palm kernel expeller (PKE) contributing IDR 1.5 billion in Q1 2025.As of Q1 2025, MKTR also recorded total assets of IDR 1.53 trillion, up from IDR 1.51 trillion in December 2024.


Total equity increased to IDR 635.5 billion in Q1 2025 from IDR 629.3 billion at the end of 2024, while liabilities rose to IDR 897.9 billion from IDR 889.1 billion.
