PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Holds Free Medical Outreach in Guci Village, Attended by Lamandau Deputy Regent

NANGA BULIK, radarsampir.jawapos.com – Towards the end of 2025, PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk once again demonstrated its commitment to community welfare through the implementation of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the healthcare sector. The palm oil plantation company organized free medical check-ups and treatment for residents of Guci Village, Bulik Sub-district, Lamandau Regency, on Tuesday (23 December).

The social initiative received appreciation from the Lamandau Regency Government. Deputy Regent of Lamandau, Abdul Hamid, was present in person to provide support and to observe the delivery of healthcare services for communities surrounding the Company’s operational areas. Also attending the event were representatives of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the Head of Bulik Sub-district, the management team of PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk, the Head of Guci Village, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas, community leaders, and dozens of local residents. The presence of various stakeholders reflected the strong synergy between the business sector, government, and the community.

Initially, the program was targeted to serve 100 participants. However, at the time of implementation, a total of 54 adult and elderly residents participated in the health examinations. The lower turnout was attributed to a number of residents being outside the village due to school holidays and Christmas celebrations. Nevertheless, the activity proceeded smoothly and was enthusiastically welcomed by the attending residents. In his remarks, Deputy Regent Abdul Hamid expressed his appreciation and gratitude to PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk for its commitment to supporting social development, particularly in the healthcare sector.

“This CSR program is not only oriented toward economic growth, but also makes a tangible contribution to the welfare and health of the people of Lamandau Regency,” he stated. He emphasized that health is a fundamental pillar in the development of human resources. According to him, a healthy community will be more productive and better able to actively participate in sustainable development.

“The local government highly appreciates the synergy established between the business sector and the community. We hope programs such as this can be sustainable, well-targeted, and serve as a benchmark for other companies in Lamandau,” he added.

Meanwhile, General Manager of Operations of PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk, Adrial, explained that the activity forms part of the Company’s social responsibility toward surrounding communities.

“We recognize that health is the primary foundation for building strong and productive human resources. Therefore, this program represents our commitment,” he explained.

In addition to health examinations and the provision of free medication, the medical team also delivered health education to residents regarding healthy lifestyle practices. The education was tailored to the diagnostic results of each participant. Based on the medical assessments, the most prevalent health complaints among residents were high cholesterol and gout. The medical team provided specific guidance related to dietary patterns, physical activity, and treatment to help manage these conditions.

This CSR program received a positive response from both the Lamandau Regency Government and the local community. All parties expressed the hope that similar initiatives will continue to be implemented in order to improve the quality of public health in areas in need.
